Hello Folks,

Is there anybody with experience using this software?

If yes, what is your recommendation?

Does it worth investing?

Or stick to traditional way of selecting material to fit for the purpose.

Your feedback is appreciated.

Cheers,
Frank

I have not had any experience with Socrates, but I have extensive experience with CES Edupack/ CES selector which was about all the information you would ever need and then some. If material selection isn't your daily routine I would suggest the ol'fashion way.

I think Socrates only had iron, copper, bronze, gold+alloys, and silver with which to work, so I don't think it would be helpful...
But as an old person, I usually get a laugh from expert computer software systems.
