Hello everyone,

I wish someone help me to understand how to apply the softening behavior of rock in Mohr-coulomb.

I know the friction angle and cohesion of the rock sample from the shear test. Moreover, i have the stress-strain curve for the rock (Uniaxial compression test).

the rock sample shows softening after the peak stress was reached.
in the "Cohesion" in Mohr-Coulomb i put the Cohesion yield stress = 200 psi and Abs. plastic strain =0. I expect to see elastic-perfect plastic stress-strain curve, but i did not see that behavior.

Thanks
