Hi all,

I am looking at producing software for various engineering calcs (based on my current excel workbooks) and are unsure of where to start.

The look I'm after is that of userforms in excel, but I do not want these excel based.

Is there anyone that can direct me to the correct text reference books, and programing language (VBA ?).

Many thanks

Ivan

For easy problems (up to 2 pages/250 statements, no complex
arithm. ) GWbasic which is compatible to TURBO-,Quick-,
Power-, etc.BASIC-s.

FORTRAN is more science oriented but net supported as well
as C++ which is much harder to learn and easier to debug.

Want some BASIC samples ?

Thanks nbucska,

Some BASIC samples would be good if possible.
