Dear all,

Can anybody recommend a software for floor and process planning for foundry floors?
I am designing a new process and I don't want to do it all on paper. I was hoping there is a sofware that can simulate various things like:

Forklift bringing material from storage to the machine - Take into account Qualification time - Transfer raw materials to machine.. Processing - Final product moving to inspection line -- Packaging etc....

Like a smart flow diagram so that I can optimize the process.

Thanks

This is a belated response to your inquiry. If you are still in need of a suitable software for your requirement, you may consider a shop floor scheduling tool, Schedlyzer Lite ( ). It is a powerful tool for scheduling a variety of operations on shop floor subject to resource availability and it can read input data even from a simple Excel file.
