We all read in papers about softwares developed in universities. For example, in Poulos' papers I have read at least dozen softwares, but none of them is available on internet, as far as I know.

I am talking about for example, ILLICON from Illinois or Colany from Sydney. These are all nice softwares.

Do you know and have any softwares developed in universities that we can experiment with? I really like these things.

Contact the author(s) of the software and they can usually direct you to copies if they are available for "public use". Many times they are research oriented and the authors are not willing to let them out into the public domain for a variety of reasons.

Ron,

Thank you. I'll do that next time. If you guys have something like that, it would be nice to share.

Here you can download a sw for slope analysis built from an italian researcher. It can be freely downloaded and used even for commercial purposes. I'm sorry for the italian website, maybe there an english one as well. Hopefully it helps
