Hi guys!

is there a good source out there regarding calculation of soil bearing pressure (Bi-axial)?
Im looking for a source that would be applicable for all regular foundation shapes, e.g. square, octagon, cirlce, n-sides, etc.

Not sure why anyone is concerned about minor dimension variables, since there is so much variation in behavior in soils to start with; meaning degree of precision in this work generally is pretty low. I find making a calculation for bearing, settlement, etc. is reasonable if you use the same area in your example as the area within the fancy footing dimensions.
 
i want to ask how to use the USDA classification system? how to get the percentage by looking at it with the sieve analysis, i will attach it for clarification.
