Soil Models

Hey,

Do you know any resource that works on soil models comprehensively?

I have some papers of Brinkgreve, but I am looking for more detailed thing. For example, explanation of the parameters in each model, if possible, some correlations or formulas for the parameters.

My Aim: I do not use Soft Soil, HS Small or other advanced models too much. I want to use them, but I am lack of information on the parameters.

Start with the software you are going to use, then see what soil models are available (without programming your own, unless you have a PhD in numerical modeling).
If you use Plaxis for modeling, the Plaxis technical support / user guides for the constitutive models are your best source of information. Same goes for FLAC.
I wouldn't try to understand models outside of a specific software framework.

Thanks. Of course I have read the reference, material and scientific manual of Plaxis. I didn't satisfied, then move on to Brinkgreve which takes the subject in detail.

I like the subject, want to read more. I would suggest you the same if you want to capture the behavior of the software that you use

Brinkgreve and Plaxis are essentially the same thing. Dr. B has been with Plaxis for probably 20 years or more, and his published papers have a direct or indirect basis in Plaxis.
