Soil temperature at different Depth

Hi all,

I am unable to get through with the calculation of undistributed soil temperature at different depth for Indian climatic conditions.

I have been referring to equation 4.9 in District Cooling Guide (Ashrae). If anyone has done please let me know with an example for any location.
