Solid deformations help - NX Global shaping

Hi,

I need help with some shape body deformation. I have issue how to easy change solid shape from one form to another, and to change only one part of solid body. Below is picture and in green colour is marked area surfaces, that i want to change. As you can see, i want just to have more inclination on that green area.

When doing this, what purpose does the shape change have?
