I just had our SW rep upgrade us all to 2004 sp1 yesterday and everything was fine. IS came and installed a client copy of SBT, our accounting software and now when I run SW it takes 10 times as long to load the part, blue rectangles pop up all over the window, the mouse hardly responds, the part image disappears leaving only the shadow, and all kinds of mess. Tried a repair, no change. Tried an uninstall and re-install to sp0 and no change. Re-installed sp1 and no change. I am hosed!!! Running a new Dell 2.4 P4, 512MB RAM, Win2000 Pro, NVIDIA Quadro FX 500 with the latest drivers (also re-installed). Any help?????

Thanks,
Scott

This is no consolation but we also use SBT and so far it seems to be compatible for us. I have no idea which version of SBT we have but the "help about" dialog shows a 2000 date.
I decided this morning it was time to go for 2004 SP1 since I haven't been able to save a drawing as DXF without locking up. It would launch the "Windows Installer", the screen would go light blue and the only way to get back to work was to kill both the installer and SWX with task manager.
Along the way, I thought it was time to get rid of SWX 2003 at the same time. Of course, it wouldn't let me ininstall without the CD containing the 4.0 patch. I had downloaded the patch originally and have long since deleted the files. I finally was able to download the patch again and roll back to SP 0.0 after which 2003 did uninstall.

I know 2004 demands a little more memory, especially depending on the size of your models. We're waiting for more memory so we can upgrade. May want to ask your VAR.
