Hi All,

Just confirmed the presence of a hole annotation bug for 2005 sp0.0

When a tapped hole is called out, the hole annotation fails to list what the thread pitch is.

This bug can be fixed by modifying the Hole Callout Format File ->
C:\Program Files\ <solidworks2005 directory name> \lang\english\calloutformat.txt

I recommend making a backup of the file before making the following modification:

1. Open the text file
2. Do a search and replace
3. Replacing hw-threaddesc with hw-threadsize
4. Save and close

Make sure that Solidworks2005 is referencing this file - look under tools/options/file locations

Tim

There already is a backup in that directory unless you have different mods to your file - It's called calloutformat_2.text

Did you turn this into your VAR or SW? If not you better, so SW will fix this.
