Solidworks 2007 VS dual core 1

You'll see the advantages primarily if you use PhotoWorks to render (or render an animation), where all your processing power will be used. Otherwise, SolidWorks makes use of multiple cores, but in most cases not very much (such as general modeling). I have a dual-core FX-60 (AMD), and I like having multiple cores because I often render animations and have other programs open while using SolidWorks.
