Has or does anyone know of any problems between running SolidWorks 2008 and CAMWorks 2007 ???

SolidWorks and CAMWorks have always given me the same "cover their ass" answer "we can't specifically say whether or not the 2 versions are compatible, ..."

I go through this same problem every time SolidWorks comes out with a new version. The actual problem is that the Machine Shop manager refuses to cough up the $$$ to purchase the Maintenance of CAMWorks.

But that's a whole other story and not appropriate for this post.

Thanks for your assistance,

Brian

On the Teksoft website in the Downloads section it says that CAMWorks 2007 or earlier versions will NOT run in SolidWorks 2008. The add-in will be blocked by SolidWorks 2008 if you try to activate the add-in.

For CAMWorks 2008 there are two versions of the software. One version for installation on SolidWorks 2007 and a different version for installation on SolidWorks 2008.

To use CAMWorks 2008 you must have a license file that is dated 09/01/2007 or later.
