Solidworks and Vertical Machining Center with Siemens 840D 1

Hello all,
I am looking at a new vertical machining center that has the Siemens 840D software. The seller of the machine can not tell me if it will accept a Solidworks file or not. Can anyone offer some assistance on if I would be able to send my Solidworks files to this machine?

You will need a CAM system Mastercam/solidcam/Gibbs etc etc to send Gcode to the machine
