Solidworks Custom Properties into Inventor

hi guys. I am a Solidworks User for about 6years. I have a customer want all drawings into Inventor software with Iproperties.

It is possible to convert Solidworks to Inventor with Custom Properties? I tried to use transmagic software still the custom properties not linked. Please advise

You can do this with API. Custom properties are accessible through Windows API (don't need SW or Inventor). You can read the SW properties and write to Inventor files. Programmer needs to implement DSOfile.dll to access custom props.

The limitation is that only general properties are available, not configuration-specific properties (though it sounds as if you do have access to SW, so you can get around that).

It would be great if you can give me details of the procedures having Windows API to access custom prop.

I have option to save BOM from Solidworks into Excel, from that i can create an i-logic for auto-generation of i-properties into Inventor. I think this windows API could be beter.
