First post so be gentle.
I had the same issue in the above thread where my solidworks dwg was stuck in rollback state even though I didn't roll anything back.
Actual error message was: One of the models of this drawing is in a rollback state. The drawing is inaccessible now.
I was able to regain functionality by going to "File-->Save and Check in" Then when the check-in dialog box opened, I closed out of it, right-clicked on a view and reopened the part (even though I already had it open). When I did this, it opened the part, but one feature was rolled back. Thus I rolled it forward, switched back to the assembly and Bingo! Back in business!
Hopefully, it'll save someone else from having to Ctrl+Alt+Del their days work.
