The previous thread on this error was closed, but I wanted to post the solution for anyone else who might need it.

Error Message: When attempting to change measurement units (Measure > Units/Precision), this message appears: "Please enter an integer between 2 and 256".

Solution: Go to Options > Document Properties > Units. Make sure that any active fields in the Fractions column are filled in with an integer between 2 and 256. Press OK and the error should be gone.
