Hi I'm trying to locate a good 3d model of a shipping container, 20 or 40 foot. I see Design Library's like Turbosquid have a good one but it is in 3d max. Can this format be imported into solidworks? Also Google Sketchup has one but again I don't think I can import to Solidworks. Any one know of a good source for a solidworks model or have one they are willing to share?

YoEddie,
Do you have the 3D Max file? If so, send it to me and I can convert to .igs, .stl or .dxf for you.

Hi Chris
Thanks for the offer to convert the file. No I haven't purchased the file yet as I wasn't sure it would be any use to me in the 3D max format. I have the model from Google Sketch up which is a .skp file if you can convert that it would help.

Cheers Eddie

I have not worked much with Sketchup, but I can give it a try.
