Most material property data given by a manufacturer or material handbook are in "weight" density (lb/in3)
For a static study, like applying pressure, the density is immaterial, whether it is in "weight" density or "mass" density.
However, when inputting values for custom material in Simulation when starting a Linear Dynamic Study (an acceleration g loading (External Loads ->uniform base extraction)) as an example, do we use "weight" density (lb/in3) or "mass" density (slug/in3)?
