SOLIDWORKS TEMPLATE ERROR 3

Hey all,
i am facing issue in creating Drawing template in solidworks. like i follow all steps in creating new template, i save it but it won't appear on solidworks start menu(front page of solidworks in selecting template option for new part or drawing). can anybody suggest me what i am doing wrong or is it any software problem? may be there is a file attachment issue.

Is it in the same folder as other templates that appear in your startup box?
Does it have the same filename suffix as other template files?

On the SW start up did you select Advanced?

Also, you have to have the path set in your System options\File locations - I never use the default template location, i always make a new spot for my customer templates\Sheet formats.

System Options:
- Default Templates, Select templates locations.
- File Locations, Add location of Document Templates and Sheet Formats. Delete locations not used.
Restart SW.

Thanx to all for giving me ideas.
Sbaugh, i used your method to Add location of document template in File location and it starts showing on Solidworks Start menu.
actually i didnt save my template in default location i wanted to create separate folder only for templates that's why this issue occurred.

I am not following what you are talking about?

If you gave it a path and you put it in your system options\file locations\Document templates (and/or sheet formats) and you are looking at the advanced tab(s) then your template should be there.

If you moved the templates to another folder, you will lose the link. Need to redo.
