Is there a way or a type of software that i can use solidworks to generate to a G-code and use it for a CAM system?

you can use camworks or solidcam.
We are using solidcam2005 now , but we have used camworks2003 before.
In comparsion of these two software I can tell you that Camworks is more fetured base and similar two solidworks in making CAM features and so it's easier rather than solidcam.
But solidcam has very advantages such as better verifying , better strategies and it has more 3d toolpath.

First you would have to decided if you want an integrated CAM system or a stand alone system. The answer to that question is derived from your companies business practices. For example, in our organization the CNC programmers just develope code and have no design authority so it makes no sense them having solid modeling functions. We use MasterCAM with great success. I've used TechSoft in the past and have found that to be equal to MasterCAM. Techsoft is the developer of CAMWorks. I would stay away from Gibbs.....we currectly have a seat of Gibbs and it's very limited in functionality.

To further expand on Hecklers post, MasterCam is good, Teksoft integrates well with SW via CAM Works, and Surfcam rocks for moldmaking. I would avoid programs like Gibbs, Esprit and other inexpensive CAM programs, you get what you pay for. If you are primarily doing simple milling and turning I would go with Camworks, if you are talking about EDM, Lasers, 3+ axis milling than I would go with MasterCam or Surfcam.
