Can some help me with solution options and fluid property options in FLOTRAN for
air flow?

I'd really need some sample calculation as an example.

Hi Screetch82:!! :

In order to help you, can be more specific about your problem ???.
Fluids are a very difficult thing to model, validate and solve.

Cheers

As an simple example I was thinking about a 3d pipe, which has a diameter of 14 mm (for 60 mm lenght) and is decreased to a diamter of 10 mm´. After anpother 20 mm length there is a 90 degree turn. (the measurements don't really matter. since I just want to use it for verification with an experiment)

Now I want to solve this problem in two ways:

1st: I have an inlet volume flow rate
2nd: I was both the pressure of the inlet and outlet and want to compute the volume flow rate and velocities.

I am using air at room temp.
it be great if you could give me the options (the fldata comand) for both ways and for incompressible and compressible analysis.

I went through the examples but I am just familiar with the si system and I could't find an example of 3d analysis.
I cen email you the imput file I have for the problem..but it has def some errors.
