solve -> variable 2

I have used mathcad to solve for the variable of an equation. The solved variable is given in an array with real and real+imaginary numbers. I would like to use just the real number solution in additional calculations but get an error when using the variable in an another equation. Please let me know what needs to be done.

Consider convert first the complex variable values in a real values with the function Re(X+iY)=X

You can refer to the first element in the array by using a subscript [0

For instance, if

X[0 = 5

Y =: X[0

Y = 5
