Hi,

The following options are missing in NX9 Pattern Feature:

1°) Boundary Definition

2°) Pattern Increment

3°) Orientation

Is it right or am I wrong ?

You can try with the NX8.5 attached part file

I have found that it is correct in beta NX10 but what about the NX9 ?

Your NX 9.0 dialogs are being run in what we call the 'Less' mode.

See that DOWN-pointing arrow at the bottom of the dialog. Click-it so that it points UP. When it's DOWN, the dialog is in the 'Less' mode. When it points UP you're in the 'More' mode. You can also control this by selecting the More and Less option under the 'Gear' icon in the upper-left corner of the Dialog.

Thanks John

I'm relieved.

I have forgotten this setting and I thought that Reset Button would open hidden options

And It was more clear in NX8.5 with 3 "vvv". do you agree with me

BTW, I love your 'clown' face, but this is the best one that I've ever found (it was modeled by some unknown user with WAY too much time on his hands, back in 1996 using Unigraphics V10.4):

But it gets better when you zoom-in and look at some of the detail on the outside:

Or on the inside for that matter:

Perhaps, but I think we simply adopted what seems to already be the industry norm.

Thank a lot for your congratulations.

This is the first exercise for all my trainings. I add news for each version (Realize Shape for the nose in NX9 for example).
