Hi,
I build a 6 girders bridge using shell elements and I used wire for bracings. I ran my model successfully without errors, but I got some of the bracings (wires) coming off the structure as you can see in the pictures. the load is just a self-weight and deck load.
Does anyone know the reason? and how to fix it?
Thank you in advance.

It seems that they are disconnected initially. Which method did you use to attach wires to shells ? Were these parts merged ?

I merged the shell parts as you recommended, so now all shell elements are merged in one part in which, I added wires to model bracing and truss members.
Should I merge again, shell members, and wires??

Maybe some of the wires were separated from the shell before merging. Make sure that there’s no gap between these parts.
