Greetings,

A while ago, some people expressed interest in the aeroelastic blade simulator I was coding for my rotor design work. I've spoken to my supervisor about it and it's ok to distribute it.

If people still want it, I'll tidy it up and put it in a form that folks can use. It's pretty basic, but it might come in handy for anyone constructing small-scale rotor blades or propellers.

take care,

-Paul

Sounds great. Do you need server space to distribute it? If it is only a few megs I have some space left.

Cheers

Yeah, this sounds great Paul! I don't know if Intermesher has an area for design procedures/software on rotorcraft. Alternately link it to an FAQ on this forum - this will help the most folks.

Paul, add me to the list of interested people.

At present there is still some space available on my site, which has the 'UniCopter' and 'SynchroLite' domain names.

It could also put it on a 10M site which comes with each e-mail name, but the web address will be a long one.

Paul, a correction to the above posting. I do not have file transfer capability.

The program is all cleaned up - I just need to find somewhere to stick it online. Sorry for the delays!

The total file size is 120k, including the main m-file, auxillary m-files and some polar data files from X-Foil at a range of Reynold's Numbers to get you started.

If you send it to me at greglocock at yahoo dot com dot au I'll stick it up on my website if you like.

Cheers

Will do - I make no claims that this thing is actually accurate/user-friendly/correct/useful/non-fattening.
