I have a problem with sorting abrasive disks. When they are made in their machine they face opposite directions and thus they are placed into their packaging facing alternate ways. If anyone could come up with any idea(s) for sorting the disks so that they face the same direction that would be great. Any help is appreciated.

If the parts are stacked on top of each other, a pair of belted vacuum conveyors stacked on top of each other would allow the upper disk to be picked up off of the lower disk and then rotated, or dropped onto a chute which allows it to flip over and return to the parts from the lower belt.

I the parts are randomly distributed in a bin, or on a belt it sounds tougher. Kind of hard to solve without more information and through the internet.
