Hi Guys Just found this site
Have a site in the UK where we have run foul of the local authorities on the sound levels of our set. We own the site and plenty of land around. The set is a MAN diesel converted to run on Veggie oil. We are now moving it to a new site 20 miles away. We would like to get a new set which we could put back in on site but keep below 40 dba. That is very quiet in case you had not gathered. If we wipped off the radiator and found from somewhere a water cooled intercooler etc could we run the waste heat through a lake and dispose of it that way. Where would I find info on how big the lake would need to be or how much piping would need to be in the bottam. We probably might be able to get away with a cooling tower but it would have to be very quiet. Thanks for any help or guidance you can provide.
