Hi, I am in the process of designing a acid gas removal system for petroleum plant. I was wondering where i might find the latest equilibrium data for absorption of H2S in DEA; and or Absorption Column design for a countercurrent, bubbletray, H2S/DEA gas sweetening absorber?

This is a complicated subject. Even the choice of amine or other sweetening system requires a detailed study of the gas to be sweetened, the operating conditions, the sweet gas specifications, the ambient conditions, the environmental standards and the utilities available.

Even I am in a dire need of such designing procedure and data, if you find it can you pl. let me know of the same. as for the DEA-H2S system you can approximate it using MEA-H2s system, the data for which are present in the latest edition of Perry's handbook for chemical engineers.
