I'm looking for standard, off-the-shelf extruded alumninum profiles. I'm looking for low-profile shapes that can be used to make clamps for holding sheet metal, etc.

I'm not looking for structural shapes like 80/20, etc.

If anybody could suggest some specific sources, I'd appreciate it. I've hunted around the Thomas Reg site but I'm hoping to narrow it down a little.

Thanks.

Google search for aluminum extrusion returns 208,000 hits. I bet you could find whatever you need.

Check out Transtar Metals (used to be called Tiernay). They have many, many sizes and shapes. Not all are in stock so you will have to call them with a few part numbers in hand. Prices I have found to be pretty reasonable.
