SP 1??

Whats the word on SP 1.0? I have had EV 1.0 since before Christmas. I had heard normally the EV is out for about a week and then the public release is avalailable for download. That would have put it sometime in Dec. Then I heard Jan 3rd. Then Joy Pineau mentioned on the SolidWorks forum that it would likely be around the end of last week. Then I heard either yesterday or today. Does anyone know what potential problems exist. I would like to upgrade 6 seats here to 2005 and possibly add some more seats but I am waiting for SP 1.0 (at least). EV 1.0 seems to be pretty good for me at this point. Am I missing something in EV 1.0 that was caught before public release? We are sitting on an ever increasing amount of data and I just want to be sure about moving forward before the fact. Does anyone have any info? Scott?

Guess I typed too slow to get in the previous thread.

Last I heard they decided not to release it on Jan. 6th. I haven't heard anything on when they plan to release it.

Usually the EV time is 1-3 weeks.

If they are having issues with the Release, then those of you that installed the EV maybe required to reinstall your SW. See the SW website for information on some results of downloading and installing EV versions.
