We use 3Dconnexion spacemouse on our 3D stations, with UG 16, we could script to start the spacemouse on UG startup and not Windows startup. How would you do this in NX? Thanks.

We use the spaceball 4000 FLX which starts at windows startup (the driver software is in the startup folder). Starting the driver along with windows doesn't cause any problems for us, I was wondering why you don't want it to start with windows.

To do what you want I suppose you could make a .bat file (or maybe just a fancy program shortcut) that would start the driver then UG. If you also want to close the driver when UG closes, that might be a little more difficult.

You could write a very simple .bat file that first calls the 3dConnections driver, then calls the UG startup command
%UGII_ROOT_DIR%\ugraf %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9
You may or may not need to add pauses or other wait commands to give the spaceball driver a chance to start befor UG starts.
