Hi all, Would anyone be able to advise how much space needs to be left in front of electricity metering and distribution cabinets in apartment buildings – the particular cabinet will serve 6 no apartments and a land lords supply. From recollection there is a minimum clearance distance needed but it is proving difficult to find the details, Thank you and regards,

This is a code issue.
The requirement may vary from one jurisdiction to another.
Check your local codes.

Ohm's law
Not just a good idea;
It's the LAW!

For starters see NEC 110.34 Working Spaces.

C. Please tell us a little more details:
a) the location i.e. in which "country" is the installation located,
b) the Regulation/Law (i.e. US NEC; Europe/Asia IEC or national regulation etc ...) that is applicable to the installation.
These information are vital as the regulation/law varies from state to state and some having their own or supply authority regulation or guidelines etc.
