I managed to get it working on Windows 7 64 bit. The only way it get it to work though, is to click the model or assembly from the file explorer. I believe it was the last spaceware driver before 3D Connexion took over. I will check the version I'm using. Bought the 4000 FLX new in box for $75 Canadian. After my space navigator started drifting and I couldn't get it to stop.

If your Spaceball drifts sometimes it helps to stop it and then start it again

Hi Everyone,
If you have an older spaceball FLX4000, the spaceware version 9.3.0 works great on NX9 on windows 7 and 10 platforms. I'm using a serial port adaptor. All is good, much cheaper than the cheapest Space Navigator.

One thing I have found that isn't really an issue. Is actually you don't need to open your parts through the file explorer, but when you start NX, when it's open tap the spaceball then you can open files normally.
