Spaceball settings..... 2

Hi,

I use for my CAD tasks a simply spaceball (3DConnexion SpaceNavigator for Notebooks).
I do not always use it (most of the time I use my mouse for 3D geometry movements).
Today, by accident I start using the spaceball and I was surprised to see that the geometry was moving around a point (preselected maybe by chance as well).
Now, I can'r repeat that performance anymore......
Is it possible to adjust the setting of the spaceball in such way that the geometry would move around a point (similar with initially selecting a point with 3rd button of the mouse)?

I got an answer from the NX users.
Please, see the picture below.
NX users get the "Set Rotation Point".
Is it possible to get that in Catia?

Problably you had compass in the geometry, and you had picked something. It's quite tricky to use the spaceball while using compass

the rotation point for moving the geometry, you can define it by just a simple click in the midle of graphic area, with mouse midle button.

I just wanted to get more options.......
P.S. When you the compass in the geometry, all geometry moves.
It is not what I want.
What I want was to move the view, only!

Tools > Options > Devices and Virtual Reality >
Uncheck "Move compass with 3D Devices"
