Spacemouse issues!

Is anybody out there using the older Spacemouse-Plus-XT-USB in v5r18 on Windows-7 64 bit?
I can't get it to work. If Catia is launched with the 3-7-18 3Dconnexion driver running it freezes just before if fully loads. I can shut down the driver & Catia will launch. Then start the driver with out Catia locking up but the Spacemouse doesn't work. Any advice from anyone?

Is the 3d connexion driver 64 bit. I've seen this problem with 32 bit drivers trying to run catia on 64 bit system. The driver I use is a 3DxSoftware64_v2-8-2

3Dconnexion web site says the 3DxSoftware_v3-7-18.exe driver I'm using is for XP 32 & 64 bit and for Vista 32 & 64 bit. They don't specifically offer Windows-7 as an OS choice for this Spacemouse but I'm able to use it with UG on this OS with this driver. An email from their support department says this driver is the last that will be release for this Spacemouse-Plus-XT-USB due to it's age.
I'm curious , what Operating system are you running, what version of Catia & what type Spacemouse are you using?
You mentioned you are running 3DxSoftware64_v2-8-2 driver. Is there a particular reason your using this drive? It appears to be an older driver.

I'm using the same configuration, Windows 7Pro X64, V5R18-SP8, and a Spacemouse Plus XT(?) USB. I am using driver version 3-7-18, for Vista X64, and it all seems to work without any issue. For sure, I did have to install the whole mess "as administrator" to get anything to work. Of course, now I can't recall if I had to set it to run in compatibility mode.

Just a thought, what service pack level do you have installed for Catia? Dassault claims V5R18SP4 is the minimum for support on Vista, so I would expect the same in order to get anything to run on Win7.
