Hi All :

We are currently testing our blast doors to ensure there is no leakage.

Test is performed by closing the door and clamping a plate (with gasket) on the other side of the door frame.

Once the set up is ready, air is filled into this closed chamber and is pressurized up until 11 psi.

I have to ensure that no air leakage occurs from the Test Plate Gasket seal. How do I select the spacing between clamps to ensure there is no leakage ?

Input is :

Length of Plate = 133.4in
Width of Plate = 123.5in
Pressure = 11psi
Gasket Thickness = 0.5in
Gasket Width = 2in

Thanks
