Good day,
I am looking for some input on the impact of the spacing factor on freeze-thaw resistance of 35 MPa concrete. We received test results with adequate compressive strength and air void content but a spacing factor >0.45mm (max of 0.26mm for an individual test specified). The freeze-thaw resistance of the aggregates was also found to be suitable. Is the spacing factor being larger than specified a significant durability concern given the suitability of the other requirements?
Any input is much appreciated.
Thanks.
