What is the spacing in inches from a 5kV cable lug to ground, in this case the cover of a j-box?

Recommended for you

depends where you are and what type of system you have...

CSA 4160V is 2.5" P-G and 3.25" P-P...

However if your system is resistance grounded instead of solidily you should use the 3.25" for both P-P and P-G..

Any case if you can get P-P go for it..

And these are **minimums**. More is better.
