Spare actuator-diaphragms for installed control valves
In our plant, some control valves are getting old and diaphragms are getting damaged. We wish to procure diaphragms only (not entire actuators. Which data (general specs) has to be included in indent for a procurement case. We opened one of the actuator and nothing was found written on the diaphragm. Thanks

It is always a risk using unoriginal spareparts, and especially for critical operations. Best is of course to try by internet to trace original manufacturor.

If valve failure is critical (cost in mony, health, downtime?) anything else than original or total alve replacement is not an option.

To answer your question directly: exact measurements and geometrical form, material, fluid chmical composition, temperature, operation cycle description, operation charachteristics, operation time, cycles per time unit, pressure, elastic properties, expected lifetime, requirement for tests, valves and actuators pressure class and certificates. And: guarantee for proper work after your local test of repaired valve (if you can get that one...)

Typically, you contact the manufacturer of the actuator to locate a local distributor. To the distributor you bring the model number and or serial number of the actuator or a description if that information is missing. The distributor will then be able to provide you with a parts schematic and assistance in selection the parts you need to repair your actuator.
