Hi Guys,

I am doing some pretty simple cad work, just creating some decent 3d to make some presentations look a bit smarter, i was wondering if there is a way to take a solid block and animate it so it seperates into individual 3d text characters?

Any help on this would be great, as i am not that experienced with the animations side of solidworks.

Thanks

Pete

You can do this if your bits and pieces are coming apart or joining together instead of actually shifting shape. For shape-shifting and morphing, you'll probably need to use something more like 3D Studio Max or Alias, etc.

Otherwise, SW models tend to be what they are. Assembly animations generally assume fixed-shape parts moving in relation to one another.
