I usually go to online metal for checking the metal spec. But they have limited number of different kind of metal showing in their list. Want to know is there anywhere has a more complete metal spec list I can find? I mainly need to know the following:

Ultimate Tensile Strength, psi
Yield Strength, psi
Elongation
Hardness

Thanks

If you can have a copy of Metals Handbook, vol 1 by ASM,you could get the most comprehensive and authentic information. You could subscribe for an online copy too. These information are valuable, and you certainly need to pay for the services. Be cautious about any free data being put on the net..

You can also get the Metals Handbook, desk edition, which will cover much of the same material and a variety of other metallurgical topics as well. The desk edition is probably easier for a non metallurgist to navigate.
