Hi,
I am asking helps..
could anyone share some specification of thermal oil boiler such as datasheet or materal request and so on?
it does not matter if it does not include specific figures or number. What I need is a list of design criteria.

It would be appreciated much for any help.

I don't have a lot of experience with hot oil boilers but I believe they are basically Fired Heaters such as covered by API 560. Here is an old copy of API 560 and an old mobil spec for fired heaters which gives some idea of the components, materials and requirements.

Well your basic requirements have to be stated which is hot oil side - Inlet temp ( or range), outlet temp (or range), min flow, max flow, hot oil thermal properties (heat capacity, density, max surface temp to avoid coking etc). Also good to have a "normal" flow in the mix as well.

Then your fuel supply properties (Cv, density, pressure supplied at etc) plus any min / max flue gas temperatures or min efficiency.

At least then a vendor has a chance to be able to size it and work out fuel supply rates required to fulfil the duties.

Haven't looked but 560 prob has a data sheet incorporated.
