Spectrum exaust sound of turbogas

Hi Guys,
i have a LMS6000 turbogas and talkning with technician they said the importance of acoustic measurements in order to verify the correct functionality of the combustion chamber.
The control is only on the pressure sound level.
THe question is:

[li]Should be a good idea to investigate deeper on sound phisics making some spectral measurements in order to verify the frequencies associated and eventually make some analisys on spectral bands?[/li]
[li]There are none of you made it in a past?[/li]

I cannot comment the that turbine, but many use a high temperature dynamic pressure sensor iin the combustion chamber. See for example:
