I'm looking for an assembly that looks and functions just like a plane spherical bearing, but has a threaded inside diameter (5/8-18 UNF). This will be used in an adjustable attach fitting for a one-off lifting fixture, so I only need 12 of these. Anyone know of any suppliers who make something like this?
Thanks,
Andy

I can't picture it. I'm thinking of that welding fixture consisting of a bowling ball between two disk brake rotor clamps. The ball is drilled for a threaded shaft which holds a vise and moves spherically with the ball.
