Why splines which are made in sketch are not associative? If a start or end point of a spline is attached to some line with G2 or G1 constraint, and line is later moved, G1 and G2 constraints are lost. But if a spline is drawn outside sketch then it is associative.

Thanks

what I do is place the points in a sketch, then exit the sketch, and then use "studio spline" and attach it to the points in the sketch.

It's not possible to create ANY 'feature' inside a sketch, so there is no such thing as a smart or associative spline.

hm ok, so this is a limitation of nx or...?

It is a current limitation of NX.

Jerry has given you the current 'best practice' workaround; just be sure to choose the plane you want to draw on in the studio spline command, it annoyingly defaults to the view plane (in NX6 at least).
