When a BOM becomes too long to fit vertically on a sheet, is there a way to seperate it into two?

When you insert a BOM, RMB it, and go into the Properties of the BOM. On the 3rd tab (Control) there is an option to select Split tables into multiple sections. You can also control the table height and direction.

Have you read faq731-376 to make the best use of Eng-Tips Forums?

Does this work for 2004? or is this for a previous version. I'm running 2004 and can't see the 'tab' you mentioned.

I can split the BOM by RMB on the BOM and selecting 'split'.....

Thanks.....

MadMango's post refers to the Excel based BOM.

You can split the new BOM's too CBL.

1) Highlight a row or cell
2) RMB
3) Choose - Split\Horizontally above or below

Scott, I was responding to philatthehoff's question as to why he couldn't see the "control tab" when he RMB'd his BOM the way MadMango had described. MadMango's post was explaining how to split the Excel style based BOM in his reply ... but thanks anyway [thumbsup2]
