No, assuming AISI 316 and the fluid in the pipe is molten chocolate @ 140 Fahrenheit...

Come on! seriously?

Kingnero,
why the sarcasm? i am asking because of different opinions among individuals during a discussion and wanted to get the input form other engineers outside of my organization.

Thanks for your assistance...geez

kingnero was making a statement about the lack of information provided.

What code of construction is this being done to?
What jurisdiction are you in?
Are there any special service requirements (lethal service)?
Is this system in a heavy cyclic condition?
What is the material of construction?

You have provided absolutely no information for anyone to provide a proper answer. For all we know, you could you be doing welding on a .05psi water pipe. Or... this could be a 500psi hydrogen sulfide pipe.
