Is there an easy way in SWX to copy parts that have been split and have the parts reference the new copies.

I'm creating a housing with top and bottom sections, each half having an interior and exterior cover. In all I have 7 part files. One is the original design, the 2nd and 3rd parts are split from the original master(using the split command) and the 4th, 5th, 6th, & 7th are split from the 2nd & 3rd. I would like to make some changes but would like to maintain the original files. Therefore I would like to copy all files in the group and have the new split parts reference the new master(s).

I believe if you keep all the parts in a single assembly, they'll remain tied together by the assembly itself (if not by the reason that they're children of the masters).

Within the assembly, you can go to File > Find References, and copy all the parts of the assembly into a different directory for use elsewhere.
