Splitting Part

I'm trying to split a part. I followed the help file exactly and when I SELECT A BODY the save as dialog box doesn't come up.
Any help would be appreciated.

Creech:
Instead of right clicking as the help file tells you to do, In the property manager doubble click on the selection you want to save to a file this should bring up the save as box.
I hope this helps solve your problem.
